Villagio Madera is a custom manufacturer of plank flooring that brings the old world look of floors that were handmade for European Royalty to today’s most demanding customers.
While the Company itself has only been in business for a short time, our owners have been in the hardwood flooring business for 4 generations. Since 1926, we have managed one of the most successful hardwood flooring installation business in the Midwest and has specialized in serving wealthy individuals and business leaders who demand premium quality, unique looking flooring for their homes and corporate headquarters.
Over 25 years ago we started milling hardwood lumber to manufacture stair treads, straight and curved nosings, and other specialty pieces that our customers wanted and that could not be purchased from regular hardwood flooring suppliers.
As our manufacturing capability increased we spent countless hours experimenting with different species and cuts of hardwoods and installation procedures. This research and development resulted in what we believe is a superior product that we call Tuscan Character Oak. Made from rift and quarter sawn oak, these hardwood-flooring planks meet the needs of customers looking for a different and unique type of hardwood flooring and have been installed in some of the finest residences in the United States.
Our manufacturing business has evolved and expanded and we now have a completely equipped production facility. We use state of the art equipment including a German molder to machine the Face, Back, Tongue, and Groove in each board. We have a custom designed End Matcher and Bundling Equipment capable of precision end matching board up to 10 feet in length. Our pre-finishing equipment uses state of the art technology to vacuum apply our stain and a urethane / ceramic topcoat. The topcoat is UV cured and is exceptionally durable.
Villagio Madera can manufacture a full line of hardwood flooring and accessories. Produced by skilled craftsman, our products are custom made for each order with an unparalleled personal attention to detail. Our unfinished and pre-finished flooring is sold to Distributors, Floor Companies, Builders and Homeowners across the United States.
