Dear Don,

Building a house was a daunting experience for us, once we realized the scope of all the decisions that went in to making it the home of our dreams. We started from the ground up, and soon found ourselves deciding on what to do with our floors.

Very early on in the process we saw a three foot square sample of distressed flooring and knew that it some fashion, we would be using that product. With your help, and that of your associates at Villagio Madera, we now have nearly three thousand square feet of wood flooring in our home.

Looking back, the choice of Character Oak for our flooring gave us the perfect effect for our home. Our decision to have the flooring hand hewn took the charm of the Character Oak to the next level. The combination of the wood and the artful installation has made our floors one of the main focal points of our home.

We have a very active household with kids, grand-kids, pets of lots of entertaining of friends and family. After two years of wear, the floors have literally been maintenance free. Jim and I look forward to enjoying our beautiful floors for years to come.
